Abdullah to visit Johor on Monday
MUAR: Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi will begin a two-day visit to Johor from Monday.
The Prime Minister will accord multimedia super corridor status on Johor Baru, launch the newest national car, and open the Tanjung Langsat Port.
State Secretary Datin Paduka Norsiah Haron said the Prime Ministers visit would start with a tour of the Senai airport cargo-hub, after which he would have lunch with the Johor Umno liaison committee.
Abdullah would then visit a chicken farm owned by the Johor Farmers Organisation near Macap before travelling to Johor Baru.
The Prime Minister wraps up his first day visit at The Zone complex, where he is expected to announce the MSC status for the Johor state capital.
Norsiah said the Federal Government had agreed to accord the status to Johor Baru and the state government would organise an exposition.
On the second day, the Prime Minister will visit the exposition site and also launch the countrys latest national car.
He will then travel to Masai to present house keys to homeowners at Taman Desa Rakyat.
From there, Abdullah will head to Pasir Gudang where he will open the new Tanjung Langsat Port. He will round up his visit with a tour of the worlds first bio-diesel factory.
