Strengthen unity, Pak Lah tells BN parties
SEREMBAN: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi has called on all Barisan Nasional component parties to strengthen unity and cooperation to create a stronger coalition.
He said strong collaboration among the component parties would help the Barisan focus on nation-building.
We are fair to all in implementing development, he said at a dinner in conjunction with his one-day working visit to Negri Sembilan yesterday.
Abdullah said each party in the coalition must have its own strength to help make the Barisan stronger and bigger.
Allegations that the Barisan was breaking up were not true, he said, adding that the ruling party was getting stronger. He wanted everybody to learn from history to further strengthen the party.
He also added that the Government's actions were supported by multiracial Ma- laysians.
Also present was Negri Sembilan Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan.
