JOHOR BARU: Continuous heavy rain has brought floods back to the southern part of Johor.

Areas around the state capital were among the worst hit, with more than 20,000 people evacuated.

On Thursday afternoon, there were less than 800 people left at relief centres. By yesterday evening, 129 centres were re-opened to accommodate people forced to abandon their homes once again.
