26,000 families have received aid

JOHOR BARU: Some 26,000 families affected by the first wave of floods have already received their RM200 aid with the remaining 6,800 families to receive the money by next week, said Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Abdul Ghani Othman today.
Meanwhile, the number of flood victims has dipped to 51,608 in 138 relief centres. In Batu Pahat alone, there are still 48,034 victims in 111 centres.
