Azalina: Set up more race tracks
Asian International Motorcycle Expo (AIME) 2007 at KLCC
KUALA LUMPUR: States should provide motor-racing venues to promote the sport among Malaysians, Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said said.
She said there was a demand for proper racing facilities and the states should encourage the sport.
She said the country has many talented young people who have the potential to elevate local motor racing to international standards, citing 14-year-old racer Jazeman Jaafar as an example.
