SHAH ALAM: Police stormed into a house in Kajang and rescued an 18-year-old girl who was kidnapped as she had supper with a businessman friend on Saturday.

Following the rescue on Monday when police detained three Indonesians, police picked up three other local men in various places here and in Kajang.

It is learnt that the girl was sexually abused by three of her captors.

State CID chief Senior Asst Comm (II) Mazlan Mansor confirmed the rescue and the arrest of the six men.

“We are investigating if the suspects were involved in other similar cases reported to the police,” he said.

It is learnt that the girl and her 24-year-old friend were having supper when three men posing as Customs officers approached them at about midnight on Saturday.

The couple were forced into a car and driven to a hill resort.

The kidnappers demanded RM10,000 to secure their release.

The girl's friend contacted his friend and asked for the money to be deposited into his account but he could only raised RM6,000.

The kidnappers agreed to the amount but the balance had to be deposited the next day.

They took the two to an undisclosed location in Kajang on Sunday, handed over the girl to the Indonesians while they took the man to a nearby bank to check if the balance had been deposited.

The money was there and they released the man who lodged a police report.

Hours later police raided the house.
