Parents have big role in drug war
KUALA LUMPUR: Parents and the community must play an active role if the nation is to be free from drugs by the year 2015, said Malaysia Crime Prevention Foundation vice chairman Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye.
Since most drug abusers were between 19 and 39, he advised those in this age group to learn to cope with stress through spiritual means or engaging in healthy recreational activities.
“It is time for the Malaysian community to work closely with the Government to combat the drug menace,” he said in a statement. – Bernama
