Getting off on the wrong foot

Firemen sawing off the ceramic toilet bowl and drainage pipe to free Mohd Faizuddin Rahman’s leg which became stuck in the toilet bowl when he slipped while showering in his home in Taman Temiang Desa near Muar, Johor, Sunday. The six-year-old boy was freed after two hours and he was hospitalised with a broken ankle. |
Six-year-old Mohd Faizuddin Rahman was taking a shower when he slipped and his left foot got stuck in the toilet bowl at his Taman Temiang Desa home here yesterday.
Faizuddin's mother tried in vain to pull out his leg. In the end, his family called in the Muar Fire and Rescue Department.
Firemen took two hours to break the toilet bowl and at 11.30am, Faizuddin was finally freed.
He was treated for a fractured ankle at the Sultanah Fatimah Specialist Hospital.
