Chua welcomes MMA proposal
KUALA LUMPUR: Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek welcomed the proposal to set up a one-stop centre for the public to send information on bogus doctors.
Its a good idea. We need to study the details about the matter first, he told newsmen at the Parliament lobby yesterday.
Dr Chua was commenting on the Malaysian Medical Associations proposal that the Health Ministry provide a call centre and an SMS number which will help the public to lodge complaints on suspicious treatment or bogus doctors.
