KUALA LUMPUR: Local celebrities did their part to champion education at Star Education Fair 2008.
Performing artiste Ash Nair met his fans and gave away 50 copies of his new album Chameleon at the Lincoln College Asia Pacific booth.
Ash, who is brand ambassador for the college, advised students to study hard and get a good education.
“Students must get a holistic education so that they can develop themselves personally. Education is more than just getting good grades,” said the information technology graduate.
Ash will conduct talks on personality development and also help out with the college’s plays and concerts as the college’s ambassador.
“It is important for students to discover who they are and I’m happy to help in any capacity,” he said.
Singer Hannah Tan was also present at The Otomotif College booth to help promote careers in the automotive industry.
“I like motorsports, so I’m here to show support for the college,” she said, adding that the college had also given her some space to promote her online fan site.
