Rafidah: Avoid negative perceptions
PENANG: Delays in decision-making could give rise to perceptions among the public of corruption in the civil service, said International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Rafidah Aziz.
She said one way to gain the confidence of the public was to ensure that things were done on time.
“When people perceive there is corruption, we have to identify the constraints that can give rise to these perceptions and rectify the situation,” she said at a press conference after briefing the state Wanita Barisan Nasional leaders on the wing’s election machinery at the Hotel Equatorial here yesterday.
