Keladi Maju chairman’s family sells 85m shares
PETALING JAYA: Keladi Maju Bhd chairman Tan Sri Tan Huan Choon’s family sold 64.96 million shares in the open market from May 5 to 7, a filing with Bursa Malaysia showed.
His wife Puan Sri Poo Choo @ Ong Poo Choi disposed of 23 million Keladi Maju shares on May 5 and another 19.63 million shares the next day. A family member Tan Ching Ching disposed of 23.75 million shares on May 7.
The family was also deemed interest in another 20 million shares disposed of Maybank Securities Nominees (Tempatan) Sdn Bhd. Of the 20 million shares, 8.5 million shares were disposed of on May 6 and the other 10.05 million shares on May 8.
The total number of shares disposed during the period was 84.93 million shares or 11.19%. However, Hua Choon still holds 65.53 million shares or 8.64%.
The company, which is involved in property development and oil palm, undertook a 10-for-one share split July last year.
The shares rose to a 52-week high of 43.5 sen on July 26 last year while it slumped to a 52-week low of 13 sen on March 10. It is currently trading at 14 sen.
