Ministry welcomes contributions
PETALING JAYA: The Foreign Ministry has called on Malaysians to donate through its disaster fund to ease the burden of the earthquake victims in China.
In a press statement, the ministry said it welcomed monetary donations for the Tabung Bencana Kementerian Luar Negeri to be channelled to the victims of the earthquake, which hit south-western Sichuan province on Monday.
Donations in the forms of cheques should be made payable to Tabung Bencana Kementerian Luar Negeri and posted to Mohamad Zamberi Othman, Chief Accountant, Foreign Ministry, No 1, Jalan Wisma Putra, 62602 Putrajaya.
