DiGi’s new 27.5m shares to list Monday
By Joseph Chin
KUALA LUMPUR: DiGi.com Bhd’s additional 27.5 million new shares of 10 sen each will be listed and quoted on Bursa Malaysia Securities on Monday.
A Bursa Malaysia circular said the new shares were issued by DiGi to TT Dotcom Sdn for the transfer of the spectrum assignment No. SA/01/2006 to DiGi,
The transfer of the 3G spectrum would now allow DiGi to provide these services and take on the bigger players Celcom (M) Bhd and Maxis Communications Bhd.
DiGi issued the new shares for the spectrum, which would dilute Norwegian Telenor ASA's stake in DiGi to the prescribed 49%. With the new shares, TdC's stake in DiGi will be raised to 10%.
