Saiful’s medical report sent to police
KUALA LUMPUR: Police have received the medical report of Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan who alleged that PKR de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim had sodomised him.
It was learnt the hospital authorities had completed their examination and forwarded the report to the police to study before they decide on their next course of action.
Deputy Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Ismail Omar confirmed that police received the report from the hospital yesterday.
Mohd Saiful, 23, a former aide of Anwar, had lodged a police report alleging Anwar had sodomised him at a condominium in Damansara last Thursday.
Police, acting on the report, started a full-scale probe with top investigators, including forensics experts, visiting the alleged crime scene.
In Ipoh, Deputy Health Minister Datuk Dr Abdul Latiff Ahmad said he is confident the specialists would report accurately the findings of the medical examination of Mohd Saiful.
