ACA wraps up probe into Selangor Govt's donation drive
SHAH ALAM: The Selangor Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA) has wrapped up its probe into the donation drive conducted in conjunction with the Pakatan Rakyat's 100 days in office in the state.
Its director Ja'afar Mahad said the investigation papers into the case were submitted to the agency's prosecution division in Putrajaya two weeks ago for further action.
He was speaking to reporters after presenting prizes to the winners of the Selangor-level Pre-University Corruption Prevention Oratory Contest here yesterday.
The ACA conducted a probe into the drive after receiving complaints that the Selangor Mentri Besar Office's letterhead had been abused to solicit donations, which were alleged to have been deposited into Parti Keadilan Rakyat's bank account instead of going to the state's coffers.
