Blogger Bakaq says sorry to police force
KUALA LUMPUR: Blogger Bakaq, whose real name is Abdul Rashid Abu Bakar, has apologised to the police force for allegedly defacing the Royal Malaysian Police logo by replacing the tiger in the logo with a barking dog.
Bakaq said: “I regret putting the crest there. It was wrong, a stupid mistake. I would like to tender my sincere apology to the whole police force.
“I defended and still defend what I wrote but since the first moment they hauled me in, I’ve said without any reservation that I regretted having copied over the image,” he added in his latest posting on his blog Penarikbeca.blogspot.com.
Another blogger, Datuk Kadir Jasin, said it was good that Bakaq had realised his misdeed and apologised.
