Kidnap-murder case decision postponed again
SHAH ALAM: The High Court here has postponed for the third time its decision on Chinese national Su Qiao Mei who is charged with kidnapping and murdering a seven-year-old boy three years ago.
The case was postponed because Judge Datuk Syed Ahmad Helmy Syed Ahmad was on medical leave.
Assistant senior registrar Mohd Isa Md Nor then fixed Monday for the decision.
Su was supposed to know her fate on Sept 15 after the court heard submissions at the end of the defence case, but the judge wanted clarification on certain issues.
On Sept 30, the case was delayed again when justice Syed Ahmad Helmy was on medical leave.
