Stronger Pakatan bond in Perak, says Guan Eng
IPOH: The Perak Pakatan Rakyat coalition has the strongest bond among its leaders and members.
Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said the PKR, DAP and PAS were more united in Perak than in other Pakatan-led states.
He said this yesterday when opening the Perak Pakatan convention here. Lim said the convention would further strengthen ties between the leaders and members of PKR, DAP and PAS.
Former Perak mentri besar Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin said the convention would explain to party leaders and members on how Pakatan Rakyat would continue with its strategies to reclaim back the state.
On the crisis in Sabah and Selangor, state PKR chief Mustaffa Kamal Ayub said it was normal for political parties to have a “little challenge” and he was confident that the problem would be solved soon.
“The issue has only become serious because the media played it up,” Mustaffa said at a press conference during an interval in the convention.
“The problems within MCA, MIC and Umno are far more serious than that in PKR,” he said.
