MB: S’gor may give more perks to Anwar
SHAH ALAM: The Selangor Government is willing to provide more perks to newly-appointed state economic adviser Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim said the state would consider providing the Opposition Leader and PKR with an office, car and meeting allowances. He said this was to take into account Anwar’s rich experience.
“But all this depends if Anwar himself agrees to it,’’ he told reporters after the state assembly sitting here yesterday.
Anwar’s position as state economic adviser took effect from Nov 13.
