Proton boss in stable condition
KUALA LUMPUR: Proton Holdings Bhd (Proton) chairman Datuk Mohd Nadzmi Mohd Salleh (pic), who suffered a stroke while in Chennai, India, is in stable condition.
A statement issued by Proton confirmed he was diagnosed with a mild stroke, and added that he was recovering well and would be discharged in a couple of days.
Nadzmi, 55, was admitted to the Apollo Hospital in Chennai yesterday after complaining of chest pains.
He had complained of the discomfort when checking in at the Taj Coromandel Hotel and was rushed to the hospital.
Nadzmi arrived in Chennai earlier yesterday to take part in the investment and trade mission organised by the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (Matrade). — Bernama
