Drowned victim wanted to be someone extraordinary
KAMPAR: Drowned victim James Khor Wan Kai wanted to achieve great things in his life.
The Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (Utar) student had written in his blog, www.jameskhor.blogspot.com, that he wanted “to be someone extraordinary in the near future.”
Tragically, his life was cut short when he was only 20.
The young lad from George Town, Penang, seemed to enjoy life and was almost philosophical.
He especially enjoyed travelling, and posted photos to document each adventure.
In his last posting before the tragedy at the Batu Berangkai picnic area yesterday, James had written and posted pictures of his trip to Gua Tempurung on Saturday, telling how he had spoilt another pair of shoes.
Dozens of condolences messages have since been left on the blog by James’ friends, and even strangers, after his death was confirmed.
One of the messages read “strange that you’ll never read this message but do rest in peace”.
