Large crowd for large book sale
PETALING JAYA: About 5,000 bibliophiles packed the Big Bad Book Sale held at the Amcorp Mall Thursday morning, many walking away with boxes bursting with books.
Big Bad Wolf Books owner Andrew Yap said the crowd that gathered at the entrance to the sale was hard to control.
“It’s really overwhelming. It’s going to be even crazier over the weekend.
“I would encourage people to take public transport. Better yet, get someone to drop you off and pick you up when you are done,” Yap advised.
From Nov 26 to Dec 2, over 200,000 books and magazines will be on sale for 70% to 90% off the recommended retail price, he said.
