Call to take precautions against cholera
KUALA LUMPUR: The public and flood evacuees have been urged to take precautions against cholera infection during the Aidiladha holiday.
Director-General of Health Tan Sri Dr Mohd Ismail Merican said they should avoid taking drinks with ice cubes and maintain cleanliness.
"Drink boiled or bottled drinks and avoid taking untreated water from wells or rivers," he said in a statement Sunday.
