Inked — MoU on academic collaboration
KANGAR: The Allianze College of Medical Sciences (ACMs) has signed a memorandum of understanding on academic collaboration with Dominican Republic’s Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriques Urena (UNPHU).
ACMS executive chairman Datuk Dr Zainuddin Wazir said the memorandum, signed on Nov 19, covered exchange of students and teaching staff.
“ACMS will send 60 students a year to the UNPHU starting next year,” he said.
Zainuddin said the ACMS would also bring in 20 teaching staff from the Dominican Republic and Cuba.
The signing of the memorandum was witnessed by the Raja Muda of Perlis, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail and the Raja Puan Muda of Perlis, Tuanku Hajah Lailatul Shahreen Akashah Khalil, the ACMS president. — Bernama
