Retiree drives himself to death
IPOH: A retiree tried to give away his possessions to strangers and then drove his car off a 30m cliff at Kledang Hill.
Ipoh OCPD Asst Comm Azisman Alias said Ho Kum Wah, 65, drove his Nissan Sunny off the Four-Two trekking trail at 6.10pm on Friday in an apparent suicide.
He died of serious head injuries shortly after admission to the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital.
Ho, who was from Tronoh, was found several metres from where his car had landed by a team from the Fire and Rescue Services Department at about 8.40pm.
Police have yet to ascertain why Ho had taken his own life.
