No help for St John’s ambulance vehicle
ON my way to work on my motorcycle, I saw a St John’s Ambulance vehicle broke down in the middle of the Penang Bridge in the inner lane and it was causing a traffic jam.
I pulled over my motorcycle and asked the driver what’s wrong with the vehicle.
He told me that the vehicle was jerking and suddenly the engine was off.
I knew that it must be a major problem, so I offered to push the vehicle to the unused third lane.
He got in to steer the vehicle and I was left alone to push. I stopped the cars on both lanes and started to push the vehicle.
I was struggling as it was steep towards the middle span.
I waved for assistance but they just drove past after slowing down for awhile but none came over to help.
I feel sad that none came over to help push the ambulance vehicle as it could one day be rushing to save the lives of their loved ones.
