Groom driven by a desire to make big day truly memorable
KOTA BARU: Unlike other couples who use luxury cars for their wedding day, transport company worker Lim Kian Hong went on a prime mover to pick his bride up.
The 27-year-old transport executive for NSE Transport Sdn Bhd, had one of the company’s drivers drive him to the home of his bride Peggy Lee Wei Ping, 26, at Taman Delima, Wakaf Baru, on Saturday.
“I had planned this wedding for so long and the only problem was manoeuvring the prime mover around the housing estate,” he said.
Their love bug: Lim and Lee looking comfortable in their wedding vehicle at Taman Delima, Wakaf Baru, in Kota Baru on Saturday. “The mover’s horn as we approached Peggy’s house was so loud that it could have awakened the dead,” he quipped.
He said he was happy to pick Lee up using the prime mover and the experience was something he would remember for a long time.
Lee, in anticipation of climbing up the lorry, had ordered a light and stretchy wedding gown to make it easier.
