Sultan to undergo treatment in Singapore
KOTA BARU: Kelantan Sultan Ismail Petra Ibni Almarhum Sultan Yahya Petra is in stable condition following treatment for a heart ailment.
The Sultan will undergo further care at the Mt Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore.
He has been receiving treatment at the Universiti Sains Malaysia Hospital (HUSM) in Kubang Kerian since May 14.
Hospital director Dr Zaidun Kamari said yesterday that the Sultan was treated by a team of specialists from HUSM; the Raja Perempuan Zainab II Hospital, the National Heart Institute and the Mt Elizabeth Hospital.
“He is in stable condition but not fully recovered,” he said in a statement.
