Prelude to erotic massages

TRADITIONAL massage parlours in Kuala Lumpur are using scantily-clad masseuses as their “capital” to offer erotic massages to customers for just RM30, reported Harian Metro.

The women, mostly Chinese nationals, are known to be very persuasive, sweet-talking their customers into asking for such services that are not included in the “original package” but only offered by the masseuses as additional income.

One regular patron at a parlour in Bukit Jalil – known only as Wan – said that many of the masseuses would start work as early as 11am, sitting in a row on the sidewalk and waving at men walking past their shop.

“It looks very vulgar but the shopowner thinks of it as a promotion to get men to stop by for a massage,” said Wan, 25, who often visited the parlour on weekends.

He said most of the women would be wearing skirts, jeans or even attire similar to nightgowns although they were only supposed to provide massages.

> Harian Metro also reported that popular singer Asmawi Ani or Mawi has hit out at those responsible for allegedly distributing a nude photograph of him on the Internet.

The 28-year-old Akademi Fantasia star said he had been informed of the picture by a friend and “had a good laugh” when he saw it.

“The photograph surfaced about two years ago but I was never asked by the media about it. Perhaps certain parties are out to exploit the picture again,” he said, adding that he believed those responsible wanted to shame him and his wife.

“If you observe closely, the body in the picture does not match my frame. It is obviously superimposed,” he said, describing those responsible as “having nothing better to do”.

Mawi said he did not want to think about it as it was difficult to curb such problems as this involved technology.

> Singer-cum-actress Ziana Zain, 40, gave birth to twins in a private hospital in Shah Alam on Thursday after being in labour for 12 hours, reported Utusan Malaysia.

The twins – a boy and a girl – were successfully delivered at 10am by Caesarean section.

Ziana’s manager Lisa Aryanti Tahir said both mum and the babies were in stable condition.
