Aussie PM to meet Najib
MELBOURNE: Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd will make a brief stopover in Kuala Lumpur on Monday to meet his Malaysian counterpart Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
Malaysian High Commissioner in Canberra, Datuk Salman Ahmad, said Rudd would spend a few hours in the Malaysian capital before continuing on his six-day trip to Germany, Switzerland and Italy.
Australia’s Foreign Minister Stephen Smith will arrive in Kuala Lumpur before Rudd on Monday for an official two-day visit. -Bernama
