Kedah Sultanah’s father dies
ALOR SETAR: Hamidun Taib, the father of the Sultanah of Kedah, Tuanku Haminah Hamidun, died on Friday night at the Sultan Abdul Halim Hospital in Sungai Petani. He was 83.
Hamidun’s youngest child, Datuk Nor Azman, told Bernama his father was admitted to the hospital after complaining of breathing difficulties on Thursday night.
Hamidun leaves behind seven children.
The Sultanah is his fifth child.
