Galas rep admitted to ICU
KOTA BARU: Galas assemblyman Che Hashim Sulaima has been admitted to the intensive care unit of the Perdana Specialist Hospital here due to colon cancer.
State assembly Speaker Datuk Nasuruddin Daud said the PAS assemblyman was admitted to the hospital several days ago.
Che Hashim, 46, is said to have been diagnosed with colon cancer last year and then went to Guangzhou, China, for treatment.
He won the Galas seat with a majority of 646 votes in the last general election against incumbent Saufi Deraman from Barisan Nasional. — Bernama
