UN experts urge Israel to lift blockade on Gaza
GENEVA: Experts from the United Nations (UN) Human Rights committee called Israel to lift blockade imposed on the Palestinian territory, and to stop its discriminatory practices against Palestinian people, reported Algerian Press Service (APS).
They also urged Israel to comply with international resolutions on human rights, and put an end to the dangerous abuses, committed in occupied Palestinian territories.
In charge of the implementation of the international convention for civil and political rights, the 18 UN experts have criticised the commission set up by Israel to enquire about the bloody attack perpetrated on May 31 in international waters against the international convoy "Free Gaza."
Nine humanitarian militants have been assassinated in this bloody attack, strongly condemned by international community.
