Man hits girlfriend for ending relationship
WHEN a 21-year-old woman wanted to end her relationship with her boyfriend, she was hit and threatened in front of her friends, reported China Press.
Her friends did not dare stop the man who had gone to the woman's house in Kuala Lumpur to confront her at 4pm on Wednesday.
The man hit the woman with a helmet and even threatened to pour acid on her.
The woman, who was injured, subsequently lodged a police report.
> China Press also carried an article on Miss Hong Kong 2006 Aimee Chan denying that she was about to marry TVB actor Moses Chan in Australia next year.
Accusing the media of “cooking up” the story, the 31-year-old actress stressed that the time was not right for her to get married.
“I'm enjoying my work right now. It seems like others are more impatient than us,” said the TVB actress who had been in a relationship with Moses for almost two years.
Aimee said that despite being asked the same question at almost every function she attended, the couple had no plans to tie the knot.
Hong Kong media had reported that Aimee finally agreed to the 41-year-old's proposal after rejecting him several times.
