Government to build more homes under PR1MA

THE Federal Government is looking at some undeveloped government land where it can build affordable homes under the 1Malaysia people’s housing programme (PR1MA).
Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk S.K. Devamany said several plots had been identified in the Klang Valley, Sungai Buloh, Kajang and Semenyih for the purpose.
“We are confident of building more affordable housing units in the Klang Valley,” he told Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad (PAS – Kuala Selangor) during question time.
Devamany said the planned affordable housing projects would complement other affordable housing schemes close to the public transport system in the Klang Valley.
