Hundreds attend funeral of philanthropist Kuek Ho Yao

JOHOR BARU: Hundreds of people turned up at the residence of the late Tan Sri Kuek Ho Yao on Wednesday to bid farewell to the philanthropist.
Kuek's children and grandchildren later accompanied his body to the Johor Baru Association crematorium in Jalan Ulu Ayer Molek where he was cremated.
Chinese community leaders and students from Foon Yew High School were among those who attended the cremation.
Kuek passed away due to lung infection on Oct 13.
