All 206 Kedah flood evacuees return home
ALOR SETAR: All the 206 flood evacuees in Pendang returned to their homes Tuesday after the floodwaters in 10 villages in the district subsided.
Pendang Department of Civil Defence chief of operations Mohd Izudin Inusneah, said the evacuees had been accommodated at the Rakan Sukan Centre in Tanah Merah after the floods hit last Friday.
The affected villages are Bonggol Kambing, Hampar Kanan, Pondok Hampar, Bonggol Besi, Sukamari, Alor Punti, Pondok Haji Husin, Tanjung Radin, Tanah Merah Dalam and Lubuk Gajah. - Bernama
