KUALA LUMPUR: The MCA Youth wants more of its members to be fielded as candidates for parliamentary and state seats in the upcoming general election.

This is one of the 16 resolutions to be adopted by the youth wing at its annual general assembly held at the Wisma MCA here on Saturday.

The wing also urged its members to be united to ensure a more comfortable win for the party in the polls.

Another resolution is to criticise ministries which have failed to properly manage public funds as revealed in the Auditor-General's Report 2011.

MCA Youth also condemned Pakatan Rakyat's actions in politicising all government matters since the 2008 general election.

The wing also hit out at the DAP for its seemingly lackadaisical attitude over PAS' determination to implement the hudud law.

"The DAP has also gambled the rights of the Chinese by urging them to support PAS for the sake of its political interest," it said.

MCA Youth urged the people to fully support the Barisan Nasional under the leadership of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak in the election.

Other resolutions include urging the police in strengthening its investigations, calling on the people to reject all forms of extremist cultures and punish those with malicious political intentions which result in chaos.
