Trial closure of Sprint highway’s slow lane on Monday
KUALA LUMPUR: The left-most lane of the SPRINT Highway, from the Bukit Kiara junction to Jalan Maarof junction (Kuala Lumpur bound), will undergo a trial closure from 9am to 4pm on Monday.
In a statement Thursday, Mass Rapid Transit Corporation (MRT Corp) said the closure covering 0.8 km was to allow the company and its contractors to study the impact of the closure on traffic flow in the area.
"We're aware that this is a very busy area, but due to the limited work space available, this trial is necessary to enable us to plan for contingencies," said MRT Corp director of strategic communications, Amir Mahmood Razak. - Bernama
