Welder found drowned off Chendering beach
KUALA TERENGGANU: The body of a welder who was swept away by strong currents while bathing off the Chendering beach here on Friday, was found Saturday afternoon.
The victim was identified as Tuan Syed Ahmad Saufi Tuan Mohamad, 26.
A search and rescue team found the body about 1.50pm, near the Malaysia Fisheries Development Authority jetty in Chendering.
The victim was believed to have been swept away by strong waves while bathing with four friends about 6pm.
