Runaway bull gores man in recapture bid
SUBANG JAYA: A runaway bull gored a man, injuring him severely, when he and a group of volunteers tried to recapture the animal after its escape from a mosque in SS15.
The group had cornered the animal, which managed to run away while it was being unloaded from a truck, at the mosque around noon at Jalan SS17/2 yesterday.
However, as they approached the bull, it suddenly turned around and charged at the man, flinging him over three metres in the air.
Hearing the commotion, firemen from the SS17 station rushed to the scene to help.
They provided first aid to the man who had injured his head.
He was rushed to the Sime Darby Medical Centre and was said to be in stable condition.
The bull was recaptured shortly after by both the volunteers and firemen, with assistance from the police.
