Penang DCM Ramasamy, The Star settle suit

KUALA LUMPUR: Penang Deputy Chief Minister II Dr P. Ramasamy on Monday settled with undisclosed terms his defamation suit against The Star over two articles.
High Court Judge justice V.T. Singham made the order after Ramasamy withdrew the suit against The Star's journalist Ian Mc Intyre and publisher.
The settlement was recorded in the presence of all parties.
Ramasamy claimed that the daily had “in bad faith” published the article on Dec 23 after an interview.
