S’gor wants to hold special assembly to discuss Talam, new voters, water issues

SHAH ALAM: The Selangor government is expected to hold a special state assembly meeting soon to discuss the report on the Talam Debt recovery exercise, the thousands of new suspicious voters in the state and the longstanding water issue between the state and federal governments.

"I met the Sultan today (Wednesday) morning and the Tuanku is yet to give us a specific date for a special sitting," Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim he told reporters after chairing the weekly exco meeting.

Khalid said he expected the sitting to be held in three weeks time.
