Maxis adds more options to existing Internet plans
KUALA LUMPUR: Maxis Bhd has made changes to its existing Home Wireless Internet and Wireless Broadband plans by adding more options.
The Home Wireless Internet now has two more packages an 8GB data plan which costs RM79 and a 28GB plan which goes for RM139.
All in, there are now five packages ranging from 3GB to 48GB, priced between RM59 and RM169.
“With information, entertainment and news being enjoyed by more people across multiple devices at home, the need for wireless Internet access at home is growing,” said Maxis joint chief operating officer Mark Dioguardi.
Customers who sign up for the Home Wireless Internet plan will get a free modem and a cordless phone, as well as free allocated minutes (from 100 to 300 minutes depending on package) to call fixed and mobile numbers nationwide.
The most substantial change with the new packages involved the Maxis Wireless Broadband meant for users who need the Internet on the go. The Wireless Broadband plan is now the same as the Home Wireless but cheaper with prices ranging from RM48 to RM158.
Maxis postpaid customers will enjoy lower prices for some packages in the Wireless Internet and Wireless Broadband plans.
