Two charged with robbery and murder
TAIPING: A security guard and shop supervisor were jointly charged in a magistrate’s court with robbing a security firm and killing a guard.
Cheah Cheong Tatt, 23, and Mohd Hafizuddin Zainal Abidin, 25, were charged under Section 3 of the Firearms Act (Increased Penalties) 1971 with robbing RM1,235,715 from Safeguards G4S Sdn Bhd on Sept 18.
During the robbery, they were said to have opened fire, killing Hasnul Hafis Saad, 28.
The court set Dec 6 for mention.
