A 19-YEAR-OLD woman has claimed that her husband tried to strangle her after she refused his demand for sex, reported Sin Chew Daily.

The woman alleged that during the incident at their home in Teluk Intan on Tuesday, her 22-year-old husband also injured her hand with a knife.

She later lodged a police report after seeking treatment at a hospital nearby.

However, when the police went to their house, they found that the couple had gone missing.

“We found the door locked when we went to their home. The woman could not be contacted. We fear something bad may have happened,” said Hilir Perak Deputy OCPD Asst Supt Mohd Zaki Harun.

> Sin Chew also reported that a waitress, who claimed to have been raped and molested by the 72-year-old husband of her children's babysitter, had expressed her anger that no action was taken against the man.

The 22-year-old woman, who only wished to be known as Chang, alleged that the man had first forced himself on her when she was sleeping at the babysitter's house on July 28 last year in Perak. She claimed she was not feeling well then.

She also alleged that the man groped her breasts and private parts a month later, after which she lodged a police report.

Chang said she had not lodged a police report after the first incident because the man had threatened to harm her children.

The daily reported that although Najib was scheduled to attend four functions on Nov 9, he is expected to make time to attend the wedding held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

Lee's brother, Chong Hoon, who is also the wedding's organising chairman, said Najib had told them that he would try to find time for Lee's wedding, while Rosmah had confirmed her attendance.
