Obama arrives in Cambodia for regional summit


PHNOM PENH: US President Barack Obama arrived in Cambodia on Monday to attend a regional summit gathering the leaders of 18 countries, according to an AFP reporter travelling with him.

Obama flew in from Myanmar, where he made a historic visit to promote political reforms in the former pariah country.

During the two-day East Asia Summit in Phnom Penh, Obama is scheduled to hold talks with the leaders of the 10-member Association of Southeast Asian Nations along with Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and Japan's Yoshihiko Noda.- AFP
