Woman rams into cars and superbikes
KUALA LUMPUR: A lapse in concentration saw a motorist crashing her Proton Wira into a Bandar Seri Permaisuri superbike outlet, causing losses estimated at half a million ringgit.
The incident, which occurred at about 4.30pm on Monday, occurred when the driver in her 50s reversed her car and crashed into another car.
She attempted to reverse several times again after this but ended up knocking two other vehicles.
According to an outlet staff Mohd Nooraimee Othman, 23, the driver appeared to have panicked after this.
“I believed she got frightened after several people shouted at her to turn off the engine,” he said
He said, shortly after colliding with the three vehicles, the driver suddenly accelerated and drove straight into the outlet.
City traffic police chief Asst Comm Rusli Mohd Noor confirmed the incident.
