A new and revamped Red FM set to sizzle

PETALING JAYA: A revamped Red FM 104.9 with the tagline “trying to be cool is so uncool” will go on air on Monday.
Personalities Sarimah Ibrahim and Kevin Arokiasamy, better known as Lil' Kev, will be revving up your mornings as part of the revamped radio station.
Sarimah, an actress, singer and television personality who has hosted popular reality programmes like The Biggest Loser Asia and Akademi Fantasia, will lend her zesty personality to the station's morning slot, The Red Breakfast, with Lil' Kev, who shot to fame as one-half of a popular radio show in the early 2000s.
The dynamic duo, who will be on air from 6am to 10am on weekdays, will take listeners through their drive to work by sharing their insight on topics surrounding the Malaysian psyche.
Their segment will be followed by the Ad Free Zone, which will play 104 minutes of uninterrupted music.
The slot, running from 10am to 1pm on weekdays, will be hosted by deejay Jeremy Teo, a self-proclaimed geek dedicated to keeping listeners up-to-date on the latest in gadgets and technology.
The Red Hub, a lifestyle-centric programme with a proclivity towards food, fashion and entertainment will follow Teo's slot. The show, slotted for a 1pm to 4pm run on weekdays, will be hosted by Linora Low, who will give her take on the latest bargains and shopping tips.
Spunky deejays Terry Ong and Azura Zainal will ease listeners through rush hour with upbeat music and their funky personalities from 4pm to 7pm on The Red Fix.
Deejay Fiqrie Zahari will introduce listeners to up-and-coming artistes, especially those from the local music scene on his segment, On The Edge, which spans from 7pm to 10pm on weekdays.
Mynn Lee will keep listeners company on late nights from 10pm - 1am from Mondays to Fridays on her segment The Red Room, which will focus on topics on romance.
The newly revamped Red FM 104.9 is aimed at working adults from ages 22 to 28 and will feature all the latest and hottest music.
